Attendance for shift teams

The camera clocks your team in.

No badges, no apps: every check-in is recorded as people walk through the staff door. The rest follows: schedules, approved swaps and a month that closes with the right hours for payroll.

01 · Clock-in

Walk in, you're in

A fixed camera point at the staff entrance recognizes each person as they walk in. Nothing to carry, lose or lend.

02 · Hours

Hours you can stand behind

Late arrivals, absences and exceptions are flagged by person and location. Nothing changes without a manager's approval.

03 · The rest

Schedules, swaps, payroll

Approved shift swaps, an app where employees see their own hours, and a month close that's ready for payroll.

How it works

Three steps, zero badges.

The clock-in disappears into the walk to work. Everything else is built on hours you can trust.

1 · The camera clocks people in

Check-in happens at the staff entrance, as people walk in.

No badges to lend, no phone app to fail, no buddy punching. A card-based fallback exists for sites that need it.

2 · It works when the network doesn't

The point records locally and syncs when the connection returns.

"The system was down" stops being an explanation. No punch is ever lost.

3 · The month closes right

Hours consolidated by person and location, exceptions flagged.

Payroll-ready, with a manager approving anything sensitive before it counts.

Tiered pricing, like tax brackets.

Each tier applies only to the employees inside it, so the effective price per employee falls as your team grows. Move the slider and see your number.

How setup works

About one week per location.

Then a free month running alongside your current system, so you can compare both records before deciding.

Day 1

Map the house rules

Names, usual schedules and the rules of each location. About three hours of your team's time.

Day 2

Visit and order

We study the staff entrances and order the equipment the same day.

Days 3–5

Configure

Schedules, people and approval flows, while the equipment arrives.

Days 6–7

Install and go live

Cameras up, system tested with your team. The free month starts here.

Clear boundaries

Cameras for clocking in. Not for watching people.

No continuous recording

The point confirms clock-in events. It is not CCTV and it does not score productivity or behavior.

Attendance only

Biometric data is used for attendance and nothing else, with written employee consent collected before capture.

Deleted when people leave

Each person's data is deleted at the end of employment. Visual data follows a stated retention policy.

Human approval

A responsible person reviews sensitive changes before they reach schedules or payroll.

Why cameras

Badges vs cameras.

Every timekeeping problem you know comes from the same gap: the clock records a card or a phone, not a person.

Who we work with

First deployment in the field.

Our first deployment runs in a franchised Intermarché store. Proposals are underway in hotels and restaurant groups. Numbers get published when we have them, not before.

Franchised store · in production

A franchised Intermarché store, part of a multi-store group: shift teams and weekend peaks: the environment this system was designed for.

  • Live attendance records
  • Shift-cover workflow in daily use
  • Human approval before payroll
  • Results being measured, no invented numbers
The team

FAQ

What teams ask us first.

What does HourPace do? +

HourPace is attendance for shift teams: a camera point at the staff entrance replaces badge and phone clock-ins, and everything else (schedules, approved swaps, payroll prep) is built on hours you can trust.

Is it like our old punch clock? +

Yes, on purpose. It works like the card system everyone already understands; the difference is the camera knows who walked in. Buddy punching and lost badges disappear.

How long does setup take? +

About one week per location: mapping, a visit, configuration and installation. The free month starts when it goes live.

Do employees need to stop or look at the camera? +

No. People walk in normally through the staff entrance. A card-based fallback exists for locations that need it.

Do the cameras record or monitor employees? +

No continuous recording and no behavior scoring. Clock-in events only; visual data follows a stated retention policy, and written employee consent is collected before capture (Texas CUBI-ready).

What can employees do in the app? +

See schedules and their own hours, request shift swaps and time off, and handle absence requests. Flows adapt to each operation.

Does it connect with payroll? +

It prepares approved hours, absences and schedule changes for payroll, and connects with existing systems where the integration is supported. A responsible person reviews the data first.

What if the free month doesn't convince you? +

It runs alongside your current system at no cost. If it doesn't fit, you don't continue and we remove the equipment.
